Legal Methodology & Evidence Integrity
How we work this out. Every claim is built from public UK records: Companies House (filings, officers, charges register), filed accounts (XBRL), The Gazette corporate-insolvency notices, and HMRC’s Public Deliberate Defaulters register. Paid analysis may add derived filing, financial, network, and continuity context where the underlying evidence is available. Derived outputs are labelled with their inputs, source dates, and limitations; they are not guarantees of payment or regulated credit decisions. Source data is published under the Open Government Licence v3.0.
Honest opinion. Aggregate signals only. Specific named claims about still-trading companies are framed as percentile and evidence-based observation under the Defamation Act 2013 §3 honest-opinion defence. Right of reply: any company can email contact@recoup-iq.tech with corrections to filed data.
