This week’s pattern comes from the director-appointment graph built from Companies House director and PSC records, then used as a public-record name-match screen. For UK creditors, suppliers, and procurement teams, the practical point is concentration: a comparatively small pool of repeated names can fan out across a very large company set, which raises the chance that one issue in a linked cluster prompts reviews across several entities. That does not mean those companies share the same verified individual. It means they share a name string that appears across active appointment records. Why this is a name match, not a verified finding A name match is not an identity finding.
